Nelly Ley offers hand chased pieces. Our unique service helps our customers to enjoy this very specialised technique which is almost forgotten by modern technology. The tools used to chase the metal and shape it are simple rods, each hand made. By hammering the metal in a controlled way the picture comes to life and brings the desired three dimensional effect.

The metal prepared for chasing needs to be high quality and soft to create the desired pattern. Most of our items are sterling silver but clients can request a change of metal to 14ct or 18ct gold at extra cost. All our precious metal items are hallmarked for your assurance and some collectable pieces will have their unique serial number, so you can track the date it was made.
